Our People

Abstract Title & Resources, Inc. is managed and owned by a group of experienced professional men and women with over 50 years in energy industry along with the next generation of land professionals who bring fresh methods and technological solutions to longstanding problems. Our team is made up of attorneys, in-house and field CPLs, abstractors and entrepreneurs who’ve worked in the oil and gas plays of Texas, Louisiana, Ohio and Pennsylvania. Our diverse experience gives us numerous perspectives to employ when attacking our clients’ latest endeavor. By working across the county we’ve developed local connections that can be called upon as our clients require. Those clients include oil majors, small local operators, governmental entities, utility companies, etc.

Our team of professionals have excellent academic credentials and are committed to extending their knowledge through rigorous study and continuing education in our field. The sophistication of our contractors is equal to any in the country and continuing education is required of all personnel at ATRI. Several principals of the firm are Licensed Attorneys and Certified Professional Landmen by the American Association of Professional Landmen, both of which require annual coursework to maintain membership.

We hire only AAPL members with a proven track record of knowledge and experience in land work, and we continue to educate our contractors through available seminars, course work training and varied work assignments to broaden their ability to assist our clients. We measure the success of our team by their accuracy, diligence, loyalty and honesty. By being upfront about what we expect and following through with our commitments we are able to retain the best and brightest landmen we come across.
